What The Client Wanted

Skoda approached us to help with a show room that was being renovated in Ashford. The building was originally part of an existing showroom for a previous franchise.

The front elevation had new curtain walling systems installed, however the existing composite cladding panels to the front, side and rear required refurbished in order to keep the project cost effective.

What We Did

We are industry specialists when it comes to on site cladding panel repairs and we were more than confident when it came to taking on the project.

Our operatives repaired damages to the panels by using filler and then using a straight edge to reform a continuation in the micro rib profiles.

Once the repairs were completed and spot primed, they prepared the areas by masking all of the immediate surroundings (to the spray zones), once masked they then cleaned, degreased and provided a ‘key’ to the substrate surface.

The panels to all elevations worked were sprayed in RAL 9006 silver, with a feature section on the front elevation sprayed in RAL 7016 anthracite. Once all spray works were completed the cladding panels looked as good as new.

The Client’s Feedback

The works carried out by CJ Coatings really made an impact on the finish of the building, it was the result we wanted and that justified the reductions made by not over cladding the building. We are more than happy to use this option again should the client wish to do so.
