There are a number of certification schemes in the construction industry, many of these certifications provide assurances of the quality of the work undertaken from an environmental perspective, but a number also ensure that the company performing work on your behalf will observe the correct levels of health and safety.

This means that the contractors and buyers who utilise our services, both onsite and offsite, are confident of our ability to not only complete all work to the highest possible standard and quality, but also to observe the best health and safety practises.
Prior to the commencement of work, the overwhelming majority of contractors will send a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire to any and all suppliers involved in a project. This questionnaire is specifically designed to ascertain the potential supplier’s compliance with the Health and Safety (H&S) Legislation, or lack thereof. The Pre-Qualification Questionnaire is not purely a means of identifying less reputable suppliers, it is also a legal requirement.
In addition to the Health and Safety certifications that we as a company have been awarded, detailed beneath, CJ Coatings Nationwide also have a brand wide health and safety policy to which all of our employees conform. This enables our suppliers to gain access to our services in an efficient and timely manner. In addition to our health and safety policy, we also have the following certifications.
The CHAS Scheme:
The CHAS Scheme, otherwise known as The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme, is awarded to companies who have been found to have a high standard of health and safety as deemed by the law of Great Britain. In addition, this certification means that CJ Coatings Nationwide are an approved provider to all CHAS buyers.
The health and safety scheme, compliance to which is a minimum requirement for a company being awarded the Safecontractor certification, is third party verification of a company’s consistent provision of a high level and standardised service. Those companies who have been awarded the safecontractor certification have been thoroughly vetted and have demonstrated their ability to be trusted to perform services safely and to a high standard.
